Academic Tech Bowl:

The Academic Technical Bowl is healthy competition in a “Jeopardy” style game show format. Academic Tech Bowl subjects include mathematics, statics, chemistry,  dynamics, material science, mechanics of materials, electrical circuits, fluid mechanics, engineering economics, and heat transfer just to mention a few. This convivial competition is instrumental in engaging NSBE chapters. Furthermore it is a good way of preparing for the FE exam. Rewards include monetary prizes.

Undergraduate Student in Technical Research:

USTR is a regional and national research competition in which NSBE members participate in every year. The objectives of this program include encouraging our members to participate in research, gain experience delivering presentations, and pursue graduate degrees in technical fields. All prizes for this competition are monetary. This is not only a good investment in time, but also a great resume builder.
